The HayLoft

Bring your camera and cowboy hats to the National Historic working horse barn for a true hoedown experience. Dating back to Prohibition, this party will make you feel like you’re living in the elusionary days of top-notch bootleg being served at places like the Hayloft. The “Hayloft hooch” was so good that even Denver’s Brown Palace Hotel chefs spent their summers out here!

The Elkhorn Horse Barn HayLoft is now serving 10 oz. prime-cut steaks, trout, steak/veggie kabobs and kid-burgers (with all the fixin’s) for dinner. Desserts coffee and soft drinks are also available.

The Elkhorn Horse Barn HayLoft has a long history dating back many years ago when it was used by theElkhorn wranglers and guests for playing cards and drinking various types of alcohol.

The HayLoft is the perfect place to socialize for all you western folk! It contains a 30-foot bar, mini-stage, dance floor, appropriate seating, and a couple of pool tables. The atmosphere is horsey–with as many as 100 head of horses in the nearby vicinity–so please review our alcohol policies that reflect this environment before arriving. Also note that BYOB (bring your own bottle/beer) is strictly enforced due to liquor license regulations.
